Yep! I don't think I've heard (aka read on here, lol) of anyone paying less than $30/bag! |

Location: Online | Too dang much. 30 lb bag runs around $40. When you can get a $50 of stabilized rice bran for $30. And it lasts longer, and works just as good. I think you are paying for the hype and fancy colorful bag. Horse feed period costs too much. Mainly because the manufacturers know people will pay for it. Frustrating. |

As a manufacture I can tell you that it is illegal for us to tell a feed store what they should charge for our product. That is why you see prices all over the board. We do not set them in any way. Some stores charge extra for special orders. I have always said that the answer to store charging too much is another store down the street carrying the same product. As to getting the same effect from Stabilized Rice Bran, I can tell you that is not the case. There are a number of reasons that Renew Gold works differently in a horses body. As to how I know this. I invented the use of food grade stabilized rice bran in horses with the product "Natural Glo" in the late 1980's and owned that company until 2005. I have fed more straight stabilized rice bran to horses than anyone else in the world. It is a great product and ingredient, but not the same overall function. |
