Expert Posts: 1857	Figuring points for a series that they have to nominate for awards to have a chance at winning the buckle in each D. Don't really know how to ask this so everyone can understand but here is my attempt. Do you take the top 6 and give points accordingly to only those that nominated, ie: only 2 people that nominated placed in the top 6 in the 1D(a 1st and a 4th) so first would get 6 points, 4th would get 3. OR do you go down the list marking those that nominated and then give out the points, ie: 20 people fell in the 1D, 8 were nominated ranging from 1st to 19th, points would be given to the top 6 that nominated as if they were 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.? Does that make any sense??? Here is how the point system is explained on the flyer: Awards will be determined on the following point system: 1st Place - 6 Points 3rd Place - 4 Points 5th Place - 2 Points 2nd Place - 5 Points 4th Place - 3 Points 6th Place - 1 Point Edited by FlyingJT 2014-09-17 10:55 AM

Own It and Move On Location: The edge of no where	If only 2 people were in the 1D that nominated for the buckle, then you give points as if those that nominated were in their 'own separate barrel race'. First would get 6 pts, second would get 5 pts. It doesn't really matter where they fall within the D in relation to those that didn't nominate.

Married to a Louie Lover Posts: 3303	The way our series works in the whole barrel race gets placed by D. Then within each D they start at the top and give out points to the ones who nominated. So... If you're paying and giving points to 5 holes... 1D 1st -$ 2nd - $ - nominated - 5 points 3rd - $ - nominated - 4 points 4th - $ 5th - $ -nominated - 3 points 6th 7th - nominated - 2 points 8th - nominated - 1 point Saved my bacon last year when I was 4th but the 1st in the D to be nominated! It gets even better when you place on a 4D but have to figure Bonus Race points on a 5D...Bless the secretaries.
