Location: midwest mama | I'm just getting back into barrel racing after quite a few years off.
I really don't like to barrel race in low rise pants (like the younger girls do), so I was wondering what the best types/brands of jeans there are out there to ride in that aren't the low rise blingy fancy ones.
I'm 5'1" , weigh about 115 lbs. and have an "hourglass" figure.
Any suggestions? |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | I like the Wrangler Q Baby. If you want some fancier ones with blingy pockets, Rock 47, also by Wrangler, has jeans called low rise, but they aren't that bad. Steer clear of the "ultra low rise" though. |

Location: Dubach, LA | I'm jealous. You should be 5'9" with a long rise and an "hourglass" figure. Even those cute Rock 47 jeans are way too low for me. |

| I love my Cruel Girls. Mine are labeled low rise, and there's nothing low about them! I did find a couple of the Wranglers, I think they are Q Baby, that aren't low rise. The denim isn't as tough as the Cruel Girls so I try to save those for when going to town. I have a pair of Ariats that I really like, but they are a lower rise so I don't ride in them. |

| I'd like to know too. I do like the Q Baby jeans and some aren't too low cut but every time I find a style I like they quit making them, ugh!! |

Which style did you buy that aren't too low rise? I see that the Eclipse is supposed to be mid-rise. Are those the ones you got? I wish there were some place I could try them on because I wouldn't have a clue what size to order. |

| Rock 47 and Cowgirl Tuff "don't fence me in" jeans :) The other CGT jeans are quite a bit lower in the rise so be careful on some of them ....
Good Luck! |

Location: Missouri | We have an outlet not too far away, so I get the Rock 47s pretty cheap. I LOVE them! I'm only 5'6", but the "low rise" seem to be perfect. The only non-crack jeans that I've found to ride in!

I don't think it says which style, but maybe you can figure it out from the pockets? Here's the link. I think I got them for $50 on sale. https://www.smartpakequine.com/ariat-real-denim-riding-jeans-ocean-11975p https://www.smartpakequine.com/ariat-real-denim-riding-jeans-ocean-11975p |

Location: Lost in the corn of Iowa. | Cowgirls Tuff, Q baby's and my new favorite are Silver jeans. I haven't bought a new pair of jeans in years. I am usually an ebay'r or a 2nd hand store kinda girl myself. So I can buy the nicer jeans for half the price if even that. The silver's so far are my favorite next to the Q baby's. |
