 Don't Wanna Make This Awkward
Posts: 3106
Location: Texas | I don't want to give alot of details but my hauling partner has been making me really uncomfortable lately.. She brought a guy back to the trailer last night and let him sleep in the bed with us. I woke up, she was gone, it was just me and him. She didn't ask me, I was already asleep and she sent me a text while I was sleeping to make sure it was ok with me... Because I can reply while im sleeping right? Anyways I've already probably said too much, but im overwhelmed and stressed. PM's are more than welcome... I need a good vent. I love this girl she's been an awesome friend to me, I just don't know how to handle this. |

Location: Texas | That's the thing, what exactly do I say to this girl? We are roommates and will be living together until may... I don't want to upset her or I would have already just said what I've been thinking. As far as I know they just cuddled because thats all I saw, I didn't hear anything suspicious and he is suppose to just be "an old friend who didn't have anywhere to stay" |

Location: Kansas | I'd just say, "hey girl, I know you were really feeling that guy but I feel kind of weird with a guy I've never met staying in my trailer with me. Made it super awkward!! Ha ha.. ok, so we're clear on that?"
No need to blow the situation out of proportion (not saying you did or will) because she might not have even thought about it being a big deal. Just tell her you felt weird and don't want it to happen anymore, keep being friends, and you'll still have someone hauling with you. No sweat off your back. |

Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. Just say something casual like, "the only one of us allowed to bring dude's over to sleep in the trailer with us is me, because I have better taste than you do." |

If she's a good friend, she will respect you and not do a repeat. She won't know your personal boundaries are different than hers if you don't tell her. |

Location: De Berry, Tx | Β Is it your rig? If so just say my rig my rule no sleepovers ever. If it isn't then say it made me feel real uncomfortable waking up to a strange man in the bed and would rather that not ever happen again. My daughter had a similar situation when she was college rodeoing. But the girl brought the guy back just for some action and then left. Needless to say my daughter wasnt happy. Old her she didnt run with trash and that was the end of that girl riding with her. She did however have a guy as a travel partner and that worked out really well for her. |

My head is still in the barn cat thread... Like a cat, she brought home a present and left it. Maybe your hauling partner was just trying to show her affection for you. |

Location: Deep South | I'm with everyone else, just TALK to her.
I kinda think you're making it a bigger deal that it is. (The talking about it with her, not the fact that you woke up to a stranger)
Just a, "hey, letting so-and-so sleep with us wasn't cool with me. I'm not comfortable with you bringing guys back to the trailer when I'm in there."
If she wants to slut around (not saying she did, but if she wants to) she can go back to their trailer.
And you can tell her what you told us about how you love her and you think she's an awesome friend, if you think you're being harsh about it. Just be clear, and un-sugar coated when you say you are NOT comfortable with guys in the trailer.

The text: Left a present in bed for you. Enjoy.
