| What's that arena and facility like? I am making the trip to see a vet in Sturgis, SD on Thursday, so thought I might as well try to win some money too. What are the stalls like? How is the weather for my horses that have spent most of the last month in Texas?! Any info would be great, I found a facebook page but not much other information on it. |

Location: Northeast SD | Stalls can be inside a barn or outside in a covered shelter. The area is great, the run is indoors and usually has great ground! I'm guessing it is going to be slightly cooler in SD than TX and it does tend to get cooler at night (50's- 60s). Should be a fun weekend.. and the vets at Sturgis are great group to work with!! |

| Thank you! Is the arena big or small? Any idea what kind of turn out it might get? |

Location: Northeast SD | Im guessing there will be at least 150 runners, they have been advertising for it quite a bit. The arena is larger can easily fit a standard sized pattern in there. Also has a small warm up area inside |

| The arena is a good size, a little smaller than standard, I think. The turnout might be smaller than normal for a barrel race with this much added money. There are races going on in Bowman ND and Huron that might take some girls away. |

Location: Running barrels or watching nascar | It can be a standard or smaller. However they want to set it. I've ran in there with both sizes. |

Location: Too far from home | We talked with Megan yesterday and she said 200 pre entries. With a $5 late entry charge, I'm sure you'll see lots of late entries too. We're not going, but sure wish we could. Sounds like a great event and something she wants to grow over the years. |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | I'm going to Huron instead of Rapid. Hopefully next year they split some of these runs up. I've always wanted to go to Bowman too. I know Bowman was moved to Sept because of the EHV1 outbreak. Will it be in the spring or fall next year? |

I have always wanted to go to Bowman too. But I just can't justify driving past RC another 500 miles to go this year. But next year!!! |

Doglady, its only another three hours from Rapid, come on up! It's a top notch event! |

I hope they can figure out something better on the dates too. I'm going to Huron also, the SDBRA has had this weekend scheduled for as long as I can remember. There's not much stuff to go to up here and then they have to double up on a weekend. That stinks. I'd go to both if they were split up better. I love the pen in Rapid City. |

| Have the people producing this event put on many barrel races? I talked to one of the girls and I got the impression that they were pretty inexperienced... hopefully they have hired experienced help or they will be in for a long weekend. Got to give them credit for going big though. Hope it runs smooth. |

I love the pen in Rapid too. Hope schedules get split up. The SDBRA numbers are down but I'm tickled there are quite a few girls that I really thought would head to Rapid are staying with the SDBRA. |

I know Bowman was moved to Sept because of the EHV1 outbreak. Will it be in the spring or fall next year? From what I understand Bowman will be back to the Spring next year. I thought I had seen she put dates out already. I like having it in the fall but wish it would have been different than Rapid. I loved going to Bowman the couple times I went. Edited because I found the date for next year: Mark your calendars for 2015...9th Annual Triple Turn Classic April 18th- 19th! No EHV1 please and thank you!!
