| I am better off but...I graduated college in 2008 and entered the banking industry. It really could not have got worse. I will say that even though I am now better off, I can guarantee it was not because of anything Obama did. Americans are resiliant and can overcome alot of things, even Obama. |

| I graduated in December of 2007, so although I am better off, I was just starting my life when Obama was elected. I attribute nothing to mine or my husband's success to the President, or anyone else for that matter. We are where we are because we've worked hard and bettered ourselves. |

Location: oklahoma | For those of us with children/ grandchildren at home, we're certainly not better off with gas prices, food, utilities, et al tripled since he's been in office. My grands don't live permanently with us but we feed them twice a day everyday and they're like termites, ha |

| I am better off because I work hard save my money and got out of debt. Also, diesel has gone up, food bill for me and horses. Oh yeah he sure helped us out. I love the fact I got my raise and my paycheck went down due to taxes. That gives me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing my taxes pay for free phones and more money to those whom choose not to work and can but they make more to stay at home!! |

Location: Online | The only people that are better off are those who are rich and knee deep in the stock market, or those on welfare. The middle class who work their asses off to scrimp and save and live paycheck to paycheck are the ones who are hurting. Fuel prices, food prices, and of course everybody's favorite...... Higher taxes to pay for those who are standing in line at walmart with their ebt cards talking on their Obama iphone.
I voted FOS in the poll. He is a narcissist. Of course he thinks America is better off after he took control. All he sees are puppy dogs and kittens. And his followers are still fall down drunk on the koolade. |

I am none of those things, just some one who has worked really hard to improve my life. I don't give credit or blame to the government. I have a strong work ethic and have made some smart moves. I will never be rich with my job, but I can improve my situation little by little with a positive attitude and some hard work. I refuse to buy into the doom and gloom that so many people do. Where has the can-do spirit gone in this country? It makes me sad to see so much negativity and reluctance for ownership of owe's own life and outcomes. |

| We should have been able to pick 2 options - I picked "our country has gone to hell" but I would have liked to have added "he is FOS" also. |

I think most of us are just plain tired of working our a$$es off just to hand over almost HALF of our wages to the government in taxes to "help" those who will NOT work. |

Location: Kansas | Our small company is struggling. I just lost 10 percent of my pay and my Christmas bonus. It's a really bad time to ask me that question. If you're hearts and flowers about this administration you're probably not in the aircraft industry. Don't even get me started on what Obamacare did to our already expensive health care program.

It makes me sad to see so much negativity and reluctance for ownership of owe's own life and outcomes. My issues with the government are the policies that have purposely driven up energy prices, which in turn drive up the cost of everything else and lower my standard of living because more money has to be dedicated to basic survival. That, and the screwing around with health care that has screwed it up for everyone. Not that it was perfect before, far from it, but the changes they made were not the right ones IMO. I can't take ownership in those things when the decisions were made against my wishes by people I didn't vote for.
