I want to buy a good quality used 15 - 15.5" ranch type saddle. I've looked on tacktrader, ebay, craiglook and haven't found much. Any other websites to check out?

I know this isn't what you asked for but if I were looking for a nice ranch saddle I would go with a Ben Terrel Saddle.  Super nice!

Many of the saddles I've seen have a 6.5 gullet. I know that doesn't mean a lot from saddle to saddle but do ranch/wade type saddles run wider than a typical 6.5" gullet barrel saddle?

I ride in a 14.5" barrel saddle. Thought I'd like a 15-15.5" in this type saddle. Yes or no?

Try ranchworldads.com and go the saddle section. Lots to good ones to choose from there.

If you get a ranch style saddle be sure to get bucking rolls so you stay in the saddle better because their made wide.

Are you on FB? There's tons of quality cowboy / buckaroo sale pages. We have a few diffs types of slick forks, I much prefer the ray hunt tree, my husband likes wades but he ties off more I never do.

Look in their used saddle selection.

I got a used Crates off Craigslist when I was looking for a decent western trail/ranch saddle. Just have to wait and see, sometimes they pop up (not sure how much you are looking to spend, I know there have been newer/nicer ones as well).
I have a 14" barrel saddle (billy cook) and the crates is a 15". It fits well.
