Location: Gainesville, TX | Okay, so I was going to breed my SB daughter to FWOTR. He's full up. Still planning on breeding the MSM to SBD.
So should I just breed the SB to SBD too? (I'll admit I wasn't happy to hear how many babies were bred last year but it would be black for sure). Or maybe rebreed to CF like I did last year (great filly & FF is 1st on the magic cross report)?
Resale is an important factor obviously crossed with performance. I want the most bang for my buck, will probably sell unless its a standout filly. All colts go down the road.
Or should I go with one of the following:
Judge Cash
Eddie Stinson (DTF is 3rd on magic cross list)
Royal Shake Em
Onthewingsofglory (Full brother to Feature Mr Jess who is on the Magic Cross List)
A Streak of Fling
Edited to correct name.

| Furyofthewind isn't Feature Mr. Jess's full brother; that'd be Onthewingsofglory. Fury is an exceptional stud though, and he is Future Fortunes eligible now.
To answer your question, if she were mine, I'd breed her to Judge Cash. |

Oh trust me, that's the plan. Eventually. Thought I was going to get to this year but we're looking at buying a house soon and I need those funds for that. |

LOL Crap I was so stuck on Shawne Bug Leo, I just couldn't get past the first 2 letters. I just sold a mare to a guy that wants to take her to SBD. I think he's going to stay pretty popular since he stays in the spotlight. |

Location: Washington. (The DRY side.) | Personally, if resale is a consideration, (which you said out IS.), I wouldn't go with a stallion that is breeding 765433 mares a year. That is a good way to drive the price down. And if the horse is still being run, you may end up having to use frozen semen, which may drive UP the cost of breeding. (Unless they are only running him AFTER breeding season.) |
