They posted a rough count of their entries on Facebook, not counting any vet outs that may come in… 269 entries for the Glen Rose Qualifier! Obviously, with vet outs it will go down.. but, WOW.

Nov 1 at Glen Rose, TX 7pm CST That will be a race worth watching from start to finish. There will be an abundance of them that are very capable of being in the top 10. It will be a matter of who doesn't make one tiny mistake and draws up good on the ground. It can get deep.

The ground last weekend was amazing and I believe it's the same ground crew for the American. Ground was not a factor, 1st or last it was amazing.

This is absolutely right! That ground was the bomb and I bet it will be at the American, too.

I wonder how many Jackson has right now...i fig the FL one would have the most entries of them all considering most ppl on the East Coast will see it as their last chance.

I assume it will be the 14 second pattern they usually run there. Guess I will find out in two weeks! Holy cow. Nervous is an understatement!

You'll do great!!!!  The ground has been outstanding lately.  They've made some changes and it's been much more even than I've ever seen it, it doesn't matter when you draw up.  GOOD LUCK!!!

ETA - I look for a SHORT 14 to win it.

Well the one mare Lucy I have has run a 14 at Glen Rose before, I just haven't ran her there myself. And Bunny, lord knows. She's the one I think can lay the run down if it's going to be her day. I just don't know if it will be her day or not! Or if her day is going to be good enough! Not panicking…not panicking…

Lauren pull it together girl.  Don't panic.  It's just another barrel race.  You have plenty of barrel races to go to.....you are young.  Many years ahead of you.  You and your horses are quite capable of winning this thing.  Calm down.

Yup, you got this girl! Just think about all the runs you've had that made you confident enough to even enter!

Yep.. vet came out last Monday and gave them the all clear.. got both of their hocks done and everything else looked good. They both have been running pretty solid, I just need to not yank on Lucy at the third barrel like I have been doing. She is so stinking ratey and so tight going in. bad bad habit! If Bunny feels good, I just have to hold on. LOL.
