| What do you give your mare to help with mare-ish issues? She is at her worst when in heat. She has already been on Mare Harmony for a year and I haven't really seen a huge difference, if any. Is there anything I can give her for when she is in heat? I can usually deal with the normal witchy mare stuff but I swear she grows horns when in heat!!
Thanks for any help!!

Regumate
Regumate is pricey but it's the only way to truly keep her from cycling altogether. Unless you want to spay. I had one like that and I solved my problem by selling her. LOL! |

| Regumate says to give 1mL per 110 pounds body weight once daily for 15 consecutive days. But doesn't say what to give after the 15 days... can someone fill me in lol Thanks!! |

| Have you tried an exorcism yet? Satan begone!!1
Just kidding, I had one like that I did the marble in her and only left it in for a short time during the summer months. Just make sure it doesn't migrate to the tubes. I bought a mare that had that done and left in for years. No wonder the poor mare was Satan, it was hurting her stuck in her tube. The vet said those are short term only. |

If you're serious about Regumate ... this ^^^^ ... My fiance' gave it for me. Also ask if she is pulling air in her "woo-hoo" when working. The vet will understand and may advise a caslick. I'd seriously have a vet check her out for several things including cysts too. |

 Own It and Move On
Location: The edge of no where | I'd have a vet check her out...probably ultrasound her ovaries. Mine is she devil when she's in... we give 3ccs regumate once a week. This was after being evaluated by 2 weeks and being ultrasounded. (My husband gives it, I don't touch it.) I'd like to go a more natural option, but right now it's working and I'm not changing anything until after the BFA. |
