So my husband needs a hobby... he has lots of hobbies but nothing he really loves...  he used to be big into dirt bike and quad racing before i met him but his injuries do not allow him to do that anymore...

So any idea what i can get him into to give him that motorhead, speed, adrenanaline rush that is safe? and easy to do in an old man body? lol...  horses dont fill that void i tried that..

Thanks for your help!

My husband shoots sporting clays, obsession is not a strong enough word to describe how he loves it.

He's got the Beer Drinking one down pat lol!!

I'm searching for one because he has tried like 10 others... which all have failed... and just cost lots of money...

Plus... his latest idea is dragsters..... i'm scared cuz he has a bad back and it sounds incredibly dangerous... and not something you can gradually get into..

I vote for trap shooting or bird dogs/bird hunting - neither of which are cheap but like I always say, "You can't put a price on a good time."
Trap shooting is super fun, hard to figure out at first but very addicting.  And bird hunting with a good dog is just second to none in my book.  I hunt birds simply to watch our dog work - he is a freaking rock star.  Good luck.  I can understand your frustration!

Sorry i'm trying to be helpful to my husband and get him in to a hobby that he will enjoy!!

and.. the dragsters he is talking about are the really long narrow things that a person can barely fit in..... not sure what they are called but they go like 150 mph in a quarter a mile...
