| I bought a mare from a woman, and she said on the last payment from me I would get the papers.. Still don't have them. How can I go about getting the papers? I have all the mares information.
Anyone know what I need to do next? |

| Hire an attorney, pray you had that in a written contract, beg the lady to give you the papers, all that except in reverse order. |

If it hasn't been a very long time since you paid your last payment, maybe she has gotten busy and hasn't had time to send them. Have you contacted her........did you have a contract.....we need a little more information here....

Or she could have sent the papers off to AQHA to have the horse put in your name so that will take a few weeks, I bought a mare and thats what the lady did for me she sent them in for me. Give her a call. |

Location: Canada | Do you have a bill of sale? If you have the mare's info send an email to the previous owner and ask her to send you the registration papers for (insert registered horses name here) that you purchased on (insert date here). If she replies to you that she's not sending the papers or says shes sending them and they don't come you now have an email you can send along with a letter to the breed association to assist you in getting those papers.
Hopefully the previous owner is just tardy in sending them along. |
