My boyfriend is a hellve a hard worker and his hand hurt all the time. But it's been worse lately. He does mechanic work and works on tractors. His hands hurt so bad he asks me to drive cause hurts his hands to even drive the truck. When he was younger her had a screwdriver slice his hand open and cut a nerve in his hand, so his skin doesn't heal as the other does. It stays caloused all the time and peels. Any ideas what lotions or meds he could take to take some of the pain away. Thanks to anyone who has any ideas!!

I would be going to a good doc and looking at an arthritis/rheumatoid arthritis panel to see if there's something going on in there other than just use and abuse from work etc. As far as cracking/peeling/general pain I use sore no more gelotion on my aching joints and for dryness/callusing I use either a good all natural lotion bar or go to bath and body works and get some of their cracked heel treatment.
Hopefully he will get to feeling better soon, hand pain is the absolute worst.

I started using arnicare gel for pain relief.
I had a run in with a stal panel a couple of months back and I now have a bump on my shin, with a nice scar from where the padlock was imprinted in my leg....
(I was trotting along the barn isle when my horse decided to duck into a side isle..... and I wanted him to go strait.... so we compromissed with my leg in the middle....
)
The nerve got damaged in the crush and sometimes my leg really starts to burn, but the arnicare gel helps with that.
