How to keep saddles from slipping off saddle rack

I bought a Sundowner trailer about 2 mos ago and I like it except that the saddles are always slipping off the rack! It never happened with my Exiss trailer but I can't seem to keep them on. The saddle rack is plastic... any tricks to keep them on? some kind of grippy material maybe?

Depending on how the racks are set up, you might have to turn your saddle around. In my Kiefer Built the saddles have to go on horn first to stay put. Never had a problem since I turned them around.

I have a bp Sundowner and the saddles always slid off when the saddle rack was in the back tack. It got moved to the dressing room
(so now they are straight instead of sideways in the trailer, if that makes sense
) and I no longer have that problem.

I store my extra and old pads underneath mine to keep them from rocking from side to side with the motion of the trailer and they rarely fall off.

I have a feather lite and mine do it too. I bought some of that stuff you line cabinets with that's kind of tacky. I'm going to glue it to my rack and see if that helps

Darn! dissapointing! Sounds like Sundowner needs to engineer a better saddle rack! How annoying!! Mine never ever came off my exiss but it was a totally dif design and carpeted. Guess I'll be diggin up some bungee cords and getting some grippy material on them.

Maybe try to buy some cheap indoor/outdoor carpet and glue to them.. that is what I want to try to do to my Featherlite, mine fall off everytime my trailer moves! Along with my bridles coming off the hooks, everything is alway in the floor when I open the door.

I upgraded to these type of racks and haven't had an issue since. You could stick carpeting on them and I bet it will keep them on?

I had the same issue with mine. If you look in my album you can see some photos of how I fixed mine. Not sure how you would attach it to a plastic saddle rack but you will get an idea.
