Location: NE Texas | She continues to impress me.....every single time I put a halter on this girl she surprises me at how easy everything is. Decided that I would start working with her going on the walker and saddling this weekend. Needless to say none of this was an issue. She's had a bareback pad on once before this and yesterday I just tied her to the trailer and saddled her like a broke riding horse. No big deal.....hooked her to the walker.....no big deal. Felt like I might as well step on her and ride her off, but i'm not that brave. HAHA Let me remind you that two weeks before LRQHS met in Tyler to pick up this filly she had never had a halter on. I just can't believe how easy she is. We like her so much that another El Scorcho colt will be coming to live at our place soon. He will be my mom's colt, but maybe just maybe she'll let me enjoy him a little bit.

And Della....I promise i'm the #1 fan! We're about to get our second El Scorcho and all I can tell ya on that filly you're eye balling is you better commit......cause I love this girl and I will sell a kidney or something if I need to in order to have another.  Let me warn you....if someone fools around and buys Ms. Ellie, i'll have a third Scorcho headed to North Texas! |
