        Location: Kansas | I'm in Derby, Ks just south of Wichita and our whole building just shook. My husband called from home just three miles from where I work and said the whole house was shaking.

I remember when I felt my first (and only) earthquake when I was living in Stillwater.... the pictures on the wall and my dresser were shaking.... it freaked me out!! |

I remember when I felt my firstΒ (and only) earthquake when I was living in Stillwater.... the pictures on the wall and my dresserΒ were shaking.... itΒ freaked me out!!Β
They make my heart stop when they happen here at work.... The stadium sways forever after the quake actually stops. The one's that we had a few months ago, that originated right outside of Stillwater were the worst. The boom and then the swaying makes me jump out of my skin! They plugged in a new sound system for the stadium with those subwoofers, first time they turned it on I thought we were having another quake....... |
