Location: Louisiana | My 2 yr. old granddaughter Peyten received her first barrel racing (leadline) buckle last week. I was worried that she might not even know what a buckle is, since she has never worn one, and I don't wear one. But she was absolutely thrilled to receive her buckle!! When she returned to the table with it at the awards banquet, she told me, "Gramma, I want MORE buckles!" Yep, I see where her future is headed, and I love it! I now have two more granddaughters, a one yr. old and a newborn. Peyten will be glad to teach her baby cousins to ride! :) What am I getting myself into? *SMILE*
Peyten is pictured with her new buckle, standing in front of one of my trophy saddles that just happens to stay in the living room and made a good background. Do you think she likes her buckle? LOL!
