Location: Oklahoma | I've never been, so I'm going to be following along on this thread.... but I posted a similar question a few months back and people were saying to go to the buckle ceremony at South Pointe (correct me if I'm wrong!) after the rodeo! |

Location: Bandera, TX | Hmmm - you want to do a helicopter ride in the Grand Canyon, but the gondola ride scares you. Interesting. You could not pay me to go on the heli ride, or the roller coaster. |

Location: Lost with the rest of the MINIONS! | The South Point fills up fast after the rodeo, so maybe plan to go there early on a night you are not attending the rodeo. There is a shuttle schedule from many casinos to the T & M, and they are a life saver! Shopping is my favorite, but the shark reef is good, we always go to the Bass Pro Shop and the buffet at the Silverton is good and not very expensive. The MGM has the NRS shop, and that always has extra entertainment in the daytime. My friends and I really love I Love This Bar-good music every night and not as crowded as some of the other places. Have a great time! |

| Playing blackjack on Fremont Street!! Won $300 one night, paid for a tack set I bought earlier that day that I was stressing over buying, lol. It is so fun at the $5 dollar tables. The dealers are really nice and will try to help you a little, especially if you tip! I only take a small amount to gamble with and when I lose it I am done. But I never got to that point. I am not a gambler, but man is it fun once a year. |

Location: Colorado plains standing on a goat head! | We have always had a great time at the Gold Coast after rodeo show, they have a great show and last time we were there Wylie and the Wild West were playing after the show so some great dance music and it was not very crowded. But we are more mature so that may not be the party scene younger folks are looking for! |

Location: somewhere up north | Thanks! We've gone before but usually just do the shopping, rodeo one night and Toby Keiths. We have some new comers this year and thought it might be fun to try something different a day/night or two. |

Another good fun place that doesnt get too crowded is THE PUB at MONTE CARLO. lots of tv screens, great place to sit, watch, and hang out. |

Saw alot of contestants there last year and got to meet quite a few family members of contestants. We stayed at Harrah's last year and my husband and I love to play blackjack and craps and they have alot of 5 buck tables..and bring drinks around alot. We also took in a Cirque de solieli show..Mystere..at Treasure Island. Loved it! |

| Misty,
Helicopter bus and boat ride on the Grand Canyon was the best cost approx 300/person.
To the op
Bucking horse futurity excellent horses I think the futurity is Friday admission I believe is 20-40 but definitely worth it. This is at South Pointe
This year we bought tickets for Jeff Dunham. He is playing at Planet Hollywood
Unless you are going for 10 days you don't really have much time all the trade shows take up a lot of time, then each trade show has performance/educational/spiritual speakers that are free you could spend all day going to.
