I LOVE that show, and I don't think I've EVER heard one judgmental thing on it. They might say x, y, or z is "not for them". Which is no different than me saying that having 19 kids is "not for me". Who cares. The PC police need to staaaaaaaahp.

I'm so sick of good, wholesome families with traditional values, such as the Duggars, Robertsons, etc. being bashed and bullied by dumb a$$es that claim to support "freedom" and "equal rights". EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion. The Duggars have every right to believe in traditional marriage and all the other values they hold dear. I love them and their show! Do I agree with everything they believe? No, but I really respect them and children and adults alike are much better off watching their show than so many others. |

I agree with you 100% .Its sad when Christians and others get bashed for not being for the gays. Everyone has there opinions but not everyone should be pushed for ones opinion. |

| Good! They are part of a religious sect that is cult-like, imho. Girls/women have one role and one role only. J-chelle is a broodmare. I have always felt so sorry for the girls especially in this family. They are treated like built in babysitters and then are expected to be broodies themselves when they turn 18. No higher education for any of these poor kids. |

| I rarely watch TV and have never seen the show but I always wondered how in the HECK do they manage to feed & clothe that many kids? I can't even IMAGINE what their grocery bill must be! |

Location: Florida.. | I assume they get donations for advertising their products and money for episodes.. They have 19 kids and exploit that and get handouts as well.. the duggers go to disney and have 19 kids... give them tickets... etc.. Im not bashing them for I dont care but just saying thats probrably how... my guess is it isnt what its all made out to be.. I have seen the show.. and those teens are having to take on the babysitting responsibilitys and cant be kids .. yes its good to some degree but when they have a 13 yr old take all of the responsiblity for a 3 yr old or 5 yr old while he is growing up is wrong.. and the show i saw the teen even said thats what she does.. shes in charge of one of them.. why is that ok? they didnt have the children the mom did but I have yet to see the mom or dad handle the kids THEY produced 100%.. responsiblity in chores and the family and home yes..but they didnt have the children and need to be children themselves.. I agree that the show was much better then the trash thats on tv now.. but i feel bad the kids couldnt be kids as well.. you can raise kids with faith values and morals by being a parent..

Ditto. The oppression is so sad.
In regards to the story, I'm honestly surprised it took this long for it to become a big deal. How in the world can anyone watch this show and actually be surprised that they don't agree with homosexuality?? They are super religious and traditional, so it's no stretch to assume that they think being gay is a big no-no.
I don't think they are deserving of their show being cancelled because of this. It's an opinion they have, and I'm so sick of people being persecuted because they have their own opinions and beliefs that may make some people mad. If they make your skin crawl and you can't stand them, don't watch the show!! |

| Horrible to say and I might be telling on myself but to me these ppl are like watching wild animals in captivity or seeing a unicorn. LOL
They do inspire me to be a better person though. I think wow look at their faith and values and it inspires me to do better.
I could never make it as a Dugger girl though...they'd kick me out for front hugging and french kissing! hahaha
Also, them Dugger girls are so pretty!
TLC needs to grow a pair and keep them cause I'd be devastated not to see how Jessa's wedding goes! |

Location: Deep in the heart of Texas. | They also get to choose weather or not they continue there education once they turn 18. They do have chooses they have talked about it on the show. They talked about if there kids wanted to join the military they would be more than happy to support them. |

EXACTLY! Now we are considered bigots, if we believe in traditional marriage? This is what we knew was coming. But, of course, it was just so they could "be happy" right? NO, Satan isn't happy till he has destroyed God's version of family in society. But I have news for the non-believers, God wins. And the only real marriage is man/woman. Anything else is a farce and a sham. And it isn't "unloving" to say that. Those who deny the truth will be thrust into eternal damnation, so, if anything, those spreading the lies of "gay marriage" are the ones that are hurting the LBGT community. |

SC, I respect your opinions completely. I lurk quite a bit, but don't post that much. That's a blanket statement though.
