I found this article very interesting on how it specifically talks about the saddle fit problems with roping and barrel saddles.

Not enough information, to be creditable.

Any person can find saddles that won't fit horses.

I would like to see how they decided on the horses for the study, how many, age, size, breed etc.

I would like to know what saddles they used and how they determined to use those saddles. Did each saddle get put onto all the horses, or not.

In the article there are too many variables, and limitations they didn't answer.

There was a link at the bottom of the page that linked it back to the full article. I believe this was just a portion of it.

Altho the article is pretty limited on information, I find the stats pretty accurate from what I've found when fitting. I've also
had many of similar discussions with other clinicians I've worked with that feel the same way. The amount of poorly fitted
saddles is huge and is often overlooked at attributing to many issues we see in performance horses. It doesn't matter brand,
type (English or western) or discipline.
