Location: Lost in the corn of Iowa. | ...for intermediate riders. I am looking to go to a clinic of some sort in the spring next year. But I wanna get the best experience that I can. So my question is..who would be a good one to look for. Some where it's at a more intermediate level of competitor. The Josey clinic thread put that question in my head. Thanks in advance. |

| I enjoyed Ed's clinic and plan to go again next summer to at least 1. He had all levels there and because it is one on one he could adapt well to any level |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | I've tried a few of those already listed. Am not going to start a bashing thread but I didn't care for some. I've been to 8 Connie Combs clinics. My style clicks with Connie. I think its important to know how you ride so you can make a good decision about clinician. Also where are you located? |

Location: SE Oklahoma | Ed Wright is great, I went to them every year as a kid. I'm also a HUGE Paul Humphrey and Kevi Olson fan. My first clinic with them was truly a game changer. |

| Ed wright hands down he can work with horses on all different levels. He doesn't sugar coat anything he tells it how it is. Some people don't like that but I want to get down to my issues right away so I can work out my issues. If you want a beginners or kids clinic Martha josey is the way to go. |

Went to a Charmayne clinic when KWB was her assistant and I would go to another clinic if Kristin was holding it. She has incredible horsemanship and doesn't sugar coat either. I am not sure where she lives now but I think it is in the PNW-too far for me but those of you in that area, it's worth it. |

Danny and Vickie are personal friends and if you need some motivation they are the VERY BEST. They live fairly close but never have clinics in this area---probably because of Joseys. I would think that their clinics are extremely good.

| Lynn & Murray McKenzie are really good too! Lots of pattern work with Lynn, and Murray videos the three competition runs you make and analyzes them with you. He's seen lots of runs over the years and his insight is very helpful! |

Location: Indiana | We had Jane and Cayla Melby out to the house for a clinc over a year ago. We had ladies that were IPRA barrel racers and Junior Rodeo kids all in the same group as well as adults that didn't haul a lot but were wanting to learn more. Jane and Cayla did an amazing job with all of them and were able to help each one individually. Jane also went through videos and did a question/answer session. One thing I loved was that she took the time to help everyone until everyone felt taken care of, she didn't say "It's 5:00, we're done for today". She really had a great clinic for everyone that was here, I was worried how it would go with such a varied group, but she made it fun and easy. I think it's the best I've been to, and am excited to go to some more to see what else I can learn. |

I agree! One of THE BEST clinics I've attended. I like her style and her method of teaching. You build off each drill and then onto the pattern. Plus she give's you a half hour to 45 min of one on one time. She's AMAZING! |

They were my first thought for a clinic for a young rider. They would be good for any level- just in answer to the question about clinics for young riders.
