Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I wonder if the horse had a heart attack and fell killing the rider? I know someone that was team roping on a horse in its late teens and had a heart attack mid run. Fell down and tossed the rider pretty good, but he was ok. Horse was dead instantly. |

Location: Dubach, LA | I saw this on FB. A lovely lady that I bought a pretty painted breastcollar from posted. Apparently she was close friend/family. My heart breaks for that family. We aren't promised a second, are we? |

Location: NM...the Land of Manana | We had something similar happen here this last summer. A man who was on summer fire lookout went missing and when they found him he was with his horse and it appeared they had both died from a fall, very sad. Prayers for this young lady's family. |

Location: Flat Rock,IL | Me and my husband were both on a trail ride when his horse just leaped in the air and came down on the pavement, I thought sure my husband head was busted. He got up and I said are you okay, he said I'm worried about my horse. We think he had a heart attack. So sad for that family. |

Location: Mountains of VA | I wonder if this horse was part of the contaminated feed poisoning that came from Lakeland Animal Nutrition?? The feed contained monensin and lasalocid. Monensin particularly affects the hearts of horses. I think most of the horses affect were at Masterpiece Equestrian Center in Davie...........there will be no survivors, they are all dieing a slow death. It is so sad. |
