Also, many of these guys have sponsors who have given them shirts. I know the small family western store I work for gave Tyler Pierson all 10 of his jeans and shirts when he qualified last year. When someone is being kind enough to give you something, you smile and accept it. Although I think "pink night" is for a great cause, why do the other nights' themes get overlooked? Last night was Patriot night and besides a few red horse boots, red and blue shirts just don't stand out like pink. |

I totally agree, I think it has nothing to do with them not liking women, beside men can also get breast cancer... Plus I know men have a higher likelihood of being color blind so heck maybe some of them think they are... Lol... |

| Like Spiked said men get breast cancer as well.... lots of men each year are diagnosed.
Some may have forgotten their pink. It happens. I don't think any of them are doing it out of disrespect. Some are wearing pink and it doesn't show through on camera. Some are wearing a pink bandana or some other small sample of pink. Others are wearing sponsorship shirts they are required to wear. |

| I despise the color pink for me and didn't even own a pink shirt....does that make me against women?? IMHO the reason most contestants wear pink is for the extra bonus money they receive if they win the round wearing pink. |

Really? As a woman I could care less about some one wearing pink on a specific night. |

| trickster j - 2014-12-08 10:23 PM Do you think it is a direct opposition towards women who have suffered with breast cancer, or just women in general? Just curious- Absolutely not. First off I don't think there is a "war on women" anymore and anyone who thinks that way needs to reexamine where they get their info. Second, as others have said, sponsors give the bigger names their shirts, third, they are concentrating on winning $$, fourth, some may have a routine of what they wear, superstition and not want to change it. Those contestants are busy from sun up to sun down and may not have someone taking care of those details for them. I think it is interesting that someone sees their not wearing pink as a statement in opposition to women. Not all the barrel racers decked out in pink either, are they opposed to women? Not everything is a statement or has deep meaning behind it. Importing motives on people without talking to them or knowing them is wrong.

I dont think any of them have any sort of vendetta, some people just dont like pink! |
