Total Germophobe Posts: 6443 Location: Montana	I went through AQHA because of the possibility of wanting to breed my mare some day, so I did the DNA test and 5 panel test at the same time. Mine they screwed up and did the DNA test and forgot the 5 panel test even though I had paid for it. The DNA test maybe took 4 weeks, but they had to reorder the 5 panel test, and that took about 2 weeks more. Hope that helps! I think if they would have gotten it all correct it would have only been about 4 weeks total.

Once you send the hair to UC Davis, it's usually about 7 days for them (AQHA) to get the results. I usually get tired of waiting and call. But it can take another 10-14 days for the written results to come in the mail. Squeeky wheel and all that...

The Color Specialist Posts: 7530 Location: Washington. (The DRY side.)	WHILE AG is faster, not only does AQHA not recognize the results, but it is more expensive than going thru AQHA and using UC Davis.
