I'm feeding my weanling (soon to be yearling) Triple Crown Growth, which I love, but she is such an easy keeper that im hardly feeding her much at all. She is getting a little over a pound a day between two feedings and good quality bermuda hay. I feel like because she isnt getting fed much that she may need a supplement added to her diet. Thoughts on that? What supplements are best? Thanks!

Are you wanting more vitamins, minerals etc? I would highly recommend Muscle Mass. It is 20% off this month. I've fed it to my babies for a few years now. Really puts a bloom on them. I don't have to pour the feed (grain) to them to make them look good and I know they are getting what they need. Bob had me give mine the wormer, immune, ulcer prevent and added minerals blends.

If my babies are overweight, I don't give any pelleted feed, I give a complete loose mineral with no filler products and hay only.

I don't like them to be too heavy as it can cause long term damage to their joints.
