Location: Do I hear Banjos? | There we were...out sneaking through the trees in the early morning light. It was windy, cold and raining. Suddenly a nice buck comes walking out of the bushes. It all happened so fast! I wasn't in position to shoot so my SO took the shot and the buck went down.
As we stood there looking at our nice buck...all excited and soaking wet in the cold rain...
He pulls out a ring and asks me to marry him 
I could NOT have been more surprised! Of course I said YES!
So...add me to the list of BB'rs That are soon to be married! Now...I have no idea when/where/how we will do this. But we are both the type to run off and get it done without any one even knowing. We don't like to be the center of attention or make a big deal.
It's funny...we joked in the past about going to the NFR and getting married by an Elvis impersonator. I suppose that's a real possibility now! (Except I don't know if we want to wait that long now that we are engaged)
Saturday night we enjoyed Italian meatballs made from our "engagement buck". Yep...I might be a redneck |

hahaha...oh that one is the winner!
I'll have to get a picture uploaded. We are going to have the buck mounted...and I'm going to tan and make a decorative pillow from the remainder of the hide. We also labeled the packages of meat in the freezer so we can use it for special occasions! Too funny!
