Love them!! My wife runs a double bred Playgun. Awesome turning style and really hunts the barrels. Would love to have an own daughter to add to my broodmares.

Thanks for all the input guys! It's really tempting since the price is right! Not really famaliar with the cow/cutting blood. But willing to give it a try

We have started a few and like them. I have not really thought that they were laid back. Lots of energy and ability but take a little extra care when starting them as the ones that we have started are a little stingy.

Does anybody think they would be a good cross with a speed bred sire?

Cathie Twisselman has Texas Playgun standing near Paso Robles in CA. He does throw speed.

Love them. Whether they're all cow bred or crossed with run. They cross exceptionally well with Special Effort bred horses.

My husband managed Playgun for the Piepers for 4 years. They can be tough minded horses depending in what they are crossed on. Once you get one going, they are tough as nails. They will last you a life time. Our own daughter of Playgun has the biggest heart and has the most try. Wants to please.
