| I've never road in a Caldwell but most that I know of that have tried a PSC tend to switch from a Caldwell. In my experience at least. So, with that being said I'll speak about my experience with PSC.
I've never ordered a custom saddle before. I ended up winning a $250 gift card to use on a custom PSC. I waited and got with Kari after a couple of months. I had SO many questions, I don't know how she has the patience for my plethora (and probably duplicate ones) questions. She was quick and very helpful. Not to mention I sent her like five different forms because I couldn't make up my mind. I was able to go out there and actually meet her. She took so much time by showing me her trees and just telling me how they work, Setting them on horses back and comparing to other trees. She let me ride in her saddle while I was out there to make sure that I liked it and had the right size. I actually got my logo on my saddle and she called me up to ask me to make sure what was on the form was what I wanted. Β she talked to me about some options and I ended up changing what I was originally going to get. Β I don't know how the tooler got the detail in my logo that he did but it is just gorgeous and I'm so happy she called me and had me change it before it went into the final part. Then after the tooling she called me again and went over some painting options and made sure what I wanted with the painting was what was on my form and talk to me again about some other options. I had talked to her about what I liked and kind of what I wanted and she was trying to get a feel for what I really liked and the style. she was telling me what she thought I would like better. I am so happy she did she sent me a picture of it painted and it is is unbelievable. I don't think a company like Caldwell would have taken those steps that Kari did in making sure I got exactly what I wanted and I was going to be so happy with what I got. They are so comfortable to ride and I felt like I could ride all day long in it and I would never get sore (I've been out for a while.) I felt like my posture was better I had previously written in the textan and it kind of threw my feet back. I felt balanced in this saddle, felt like my feet were right where they needed to be.
The quality of the saddle is impeccable. The leather is just so soft. They LAST!
I know everyone has their own opinion on Saddles and you really have to find what works for you. I just know that the time and effort that Kari put into just me and my saddle and really focusing on what I wanted I don't feel like I would get with a company like Caldwell.

Location: MD | I have sat in quite a few PSC saddles and have to say that even when sitting in client's saddles that were custom for them, are far too small for me, or different from the options on my own, I still find them comfortable. The quality and customer service from PSC is second to none! |

Location: East Texas | I'm glad to hear everyone loves them like they do they caldwells. I have been searching for another Caldwell, but after trying to buy one on here multiple times and the lady would not return my calls or emails, I decided to try the PSC that I found. It's shipping to me today and I'm excited to test it out. |

Location: MN | AfleetEquine's experience sounds right on target! I will add, I was a die hard for the saddles I used to ride in. Now that I have a PSC, I don't care for my old brand and am trying to be patient with replacing it! |

Location: Where I am happiest | My husband custom ordered a Caldwell for me last spring for my birthday and anniversary present. They were awsome to deal with! They spent alot of time with me, helping me with the order, listening to me with what my wants and concernes were, made suggestions, and went the extra mile to get the fit for my horse right. When we got the saddle they were faster then their estimated time. I rode a clinic in that saddle that first weekend and it rode awsome! Fit my horse like a glove. I didnt get sore at all and it sure sat me right. I felt secure, and it was absolutelly beautiful!! This comming from someone who hadnt been on a horse for years, ever since my accident. That says alot. I love my Caldwell and they went above and beyond taking care of me. |

| LOVE my Caldwells. Charon and team were fantastic in helping with my custom order. In searching for my second saddle I sent them pics of that horse, they didn't have his tree and saddle seat size in stock but were so helpful in telling me about used ones for sale by previous customers even though I was not purchasing from them. |

Location: NC | Love my PSC and found Kari great to work with. I have only rode in older caldwells so can't really compare but prefer my PSC. I also had a not so great experience with buying a use saddle from Charon... |

Quality.
PSC no longer makes the H3s.
The H3 was still a high end saddle, but not as high as the PSC from my understanding.
