Fleece onesies and Berne insulated overalls will keep you warm enough to sweat in 4 degrees.
.......on a side note if anyone has ideas for face onesies please share. Not too sure I can handle walking around with frozen snot in my nose for too long.
That is all.....please share with your southern friends that aren't used to anything under 30 degrees!

I don't care if I'm wearing a heater under my jacket.... I'm not sweating in 4 degrees, lol. I felt my boogers and my eyeballs freeze this morning at -10 windchill. I'm over it already and we still have two more solid months of this crap.

I put my bottle of Spark outside on the deck.. on purpose.. what was I thinking.?? I wanted a little slush. I got a frozen solid piece of ice.! I'm in East Central Mississippi. It got below freezing shortly after sundown yesterday and won't get above freezing until tomorrow sometime.

I know it. 20 degrees this morning in South Georgia. High of 40. We aren't used to this. We live in the land where zip hoodies are considered coats. What the heck is this coldness?! lol

Ditto this! ^^^ We live in cold country and my silk wild rags are a lifesaver. There is a reason the true working cowboys in cold country always have their wild rags.

There are these things us northerns call scarfs. They are basically just a long piece of material
(fleece is awesome
) that is about 8" wide. we wrap it around our lower face as the very last layer before you go outside. And by lower face I mean anything below the eye balls. Hat down to eye balls. Hood from jacket up and on top of hat. Then scarf over all of that up to your eye balls. You lose alittle hearing and peripheral vision but your face is not hurting.

I ditto Wild Rags.
I also have a turtle ski mask from back in my competing days ... works lke a charm and you can pull it off while in the barn or slip it back on when out in the wind. AKA - the balaclavas!

I've used fleece scarves but always manage to fog up my glasses and I can't see anything! I may have to try the wild rags.
The other option is get the inside of my nose waxed....

Here it actually got up to 36 degrees last night from about 5 degrees yesterday morning...and it is about 10 degrees this morning. We have had snow for at minimum the last 6 days straight. I'm sooooo tired of winter!

OK...where's the best place I can buy one...I saw a display of them at the USTRC and was kind of laughing, like what guy would wear that, but now I'm all on board if they work...LOL....my sister sent me a scarf last Christmas, but it's too girly for me, so if the real cowboys wore these, they are good enough for me....
Edited to say it was -5 with the wind chill walking to the barn this morning......I'm seriously moving to the San Antonio area when I retire, I can't stand this!!!! I can take the heat, but I can't do cold...
