Location: Montana | Yes, I was born and raised here, but this is our 6th day in a row of SNOW! We have at least 24 to 30 inches of snow on the level, and more than that piled up. This is the most snow I can remember us getting in this period of time! So, I'm including some pictures my mom took 2 days ago...before we got the 3-5 inches we are getting today (it was forecasted for only 1 inch!!!). Can you tell I'm ticked at the snow??? LOL. But last night it was 36 degrees here (central Montana) up from 5 degress yesterday morning, and we are back to being 9 degrees with a low of -13 tonight. Grr...okay, for pictures now. First one is of my new car that I cannot even get out of the driveway!

Thanks for the snowman kewpie doll lindsey, that doesn't even BEGIN to show my frustration! LOL.
Oh, and for your viewing pleasure, here is a picture of my car the day we picked it up...without snow on it...over a month ago! LOL.

| That's a lot of snow! WOW! I guess Farmer's Almanac was correct with this being our coldest, wettest winter in a long time. We have had more snow and freezing rain than I can ever remember, and our temps are way low also. |

| I live in Choteau, and the winter so far has been a lot better than where I grew up (Northern Wisconsin). I'm just glad we haven't had the 20 ' s and 30 ' s below zero like they have this past week.
I definitely agree though, and am more than ready for spring to be here! Haven't gotten much of a chance to play with my weanlings like I would have liked to so far this winter. Grrr! |

| I am on the west side of the state and we haven't had the snow that everyone around us has had no instead we keep getting rain or freezing ran and lots of mud and then if freezes into a lumpy slick mess, then snows a little and rains again. Today we were fogged in so bad I couldn't see my horses that are only a few 100ft from my house. I am sick of winter if I could ever afford to move I would be gone. Does anyone want to take me in I have pretty nice colts coming up that you can ride all you want, trade stud fees , or I clean stalls pretty good too.

So true! LRQHS, I can't blame you for your comment, but this is not snowman snow. It takes a very special, wet, heavy kind of snow to make a snowman. This stuff is light, fluffy, and lots of it! Thanks for the comment on my car though.
Whoever said the reason I don't leave is because I can't get out of the driveway is probably truer than you think. This is the first year I ever remember actually HAVING to use a 4 wheel drive to get in and out of our driveway. Someone please tell me it will all end soon and it will be summer again! |
