What happened to....
Lived to tell about it and will never do it again

I just got home from work and was going to check on the "going grainless" thread, can't find it. Did it go south after I left this morning? I posted on it but nothing bad or at least I don't think so.

I really wish the mods would just delete the offending post and not the whole thread. There was good info on there and now its gone. One person or a few shouldn't get to ruin it for everyone!

ok guys i need your help to sort the good from the bad posts. We have had alot of alerts pop up on threads lately with no reason given for alerting that posts. Some are easy to spot as spam.... but some are not. If you are truely alerting just a post and not a whole thread please mark that as a reason when the alert is made. Thanks

So if someone doesn't like a thread they can send an alert to get the whole thread deleted? If so..that is total BS.

TOTAL BS HUH? we are not mind readers.... state your reason for such an alert and then it wont get the whole thing deleted. When an alert is posted we don't acutally see the whole thread at that time. we only see the one post. sometimes its pretty hard to decipher without good explanations. Hope that clears up some of the total BS....

If someone makes an alert without an explanation and the whole thread gets deleted it is BS.
I've been a member since 2003 and as of late there have been many threads disappear that shouldn't.
So yes...I call BS and it is what it is.
