| I have seen it. It is a tough movie to watch, very sad. It moves a little slow at times but seems to show what really goes on over there, but of course I really don't know that. I will tell you it demonstrates the sacrifices that are enlisted go through to protect this country. |

I have seen Unbroken 2 times and I am reading the book right now. I cried through most of the movie. |

I read both American Sniper and Unbroken. Both were great. Haven't seen either movie yet. |

I haven't read American Sniper yet, but I want to. I won't see it in theatre because I can't imagine the type of emotions I'll have! |

Unbroken IS an amazing book, I second that, the movie was good, but doesn't compare to the book! |

2 ladies I work with have read Unbroken and went and saw the movie with me the 2nd time I watched it. They both liked the movie but of course the book goes more in-depth. The movie ends after the war is over and he goes home.
I would much rather watch the movie first, then read the book. I am always disappointed when I read the book first. |

Location: La Vernia, TX | Granted, the subject is a little closer to home for me than for most, so I'm probably biased, but- here is my honest review:
(I really enjoyed the book, btw)
American Sniper felt every bit like a Lifetime movie. The ending was flat terrible. It wasn't sad, or horrific. It wasn't anything, really, and that's the problem. You'll understand what I mean when you see it.
I feel like the movie missed a huge opportunity by trying to fit too much in and the screenplay had no flow what-so-ever. Unbroken was much more elegantly done. |

| Ty is going to see this with our son. I decided to pick something else for us together. I really respected that man and I have a feeling it's going to wreck my night. I probably will have to wait until it comes out on DVD. |

Chris' mother worked for her dad and they all went to church together. So I have not only read his book twice but have a little one on one insight too. |

Right there with you. Just talking about the same thing today. I don't want to see it because of the war scenes but I REALLY want to see it for the true life story. I already know, I am sure I will crying through the whole movie. |

In another interview, they said when Chris's wife watched the movie "she felt like she was with him again." She liked the job they did. |
