I am not a APHA expert AT ALL, so the names I do realize are pretty far back. If going off papers alone (not taking into account conformation, disposition, talent, heart, price etc) I think you could easily find one that will have better re-sale value. Again, this is just my personal opinion.

Depending on confo, athleticism, and price they are asking this horse could be something special! As far as resell value you should not have a problem getting what you paid.

I like the horse. Can't really say about the resale value but the horse has a pretty nice pedigree. With paints I have found that their performance sells better than pedigree. Way back there on his papers is Flying Bob. He put some running suckers on the ground. Most people on here are too young to remember even his grandget. Tough tough barrel horses.

There are some awesome lines way back and were lines that passed on their traits. The bird line probably closely related to mind that bird and we know how he did. the Fair line probably goes back to Fair play he produced man o war and seabiscuit. Go rebel go could be related to Go man go. Top deck moon deck and top deck made it the track and made an impression. I don't think you will lose out if you make something of this paint. Note I have not looked these up just pure speculation as some breeders will reuse the name to their get.

Laico Bird, a fantastic race horse, was by the TB Good Bird, who was by Papa Redbird. Good Bird sired some really nice running quarter horses. Mine That Bird was by Birdstone who got the bird from Storm Bird. The two TB lines are not related.

No I wouldnt. I like the lines but most people just don't go for paints. Resale on a paint who performs Medicore is bad. If your wanting an opinion strictly off papers it's a no. You will have s hard time selling.
