Dark is more trendy right now and does look expensive but come on... doesn't everyone remember the '70's and how dreary it got with all the dark paneling? I could see it being that way in a trailer after a few trips. There are other ways to make the interior look 'richer'.

Location: In my own little world	IMO lighter is always a better resale. Dark in a small space would depress me if I ever had to spend a lot of time in it. And light gives the appearance of larger, thus opening up the space. Even in clothing fashion trends black as it is slimming, light does not do that.

I watch Flipping Vegas and she is always going on about the lighter Oak cabinets and how "dated" they are and always goes with an expresso shade...and I hate it. Makes the space look smaller and I find it depressing. But then again, I like what I like and fashion trends have little effect on me.

That way it won't show dirt as bad. Any darker you'll be kicking your shoes off outside and can be a pain if going in and out. Extreme Veteran Posts: 320 Location: Dubuque,IA	I recently bought a new trailer and it is all dark wood etc and I feel like it really cuts down on the "light" in the trailer and feel ike I always need a light on. The trailer I got rid of was made in the late 90's and was all light colored and when the dealer got it he commented that the interior was "dated" but I would rather have the light color to brighten things up!!!!

I live in it and believe me even with light wood I still have to have the lights on during the day.... my trailer is facing west so I have the southern sun. I would feel very depressed if the wood was dark.
