I also have a two year old colt by Lead The Field who I could not possibly be more please with. He is a dream to work with, confident and level headed. He acts like a 30 year old cow pony. My coming 2 year old is out of a mare like your co-worker's. He is the most laidback,easy going, confident colt I have ever been around.
He's pretty smart too, show him something once and he's got it.

Location: MI | We just hauled on of our yearlings who hadnt been touched since baby to blacksmith. He was taught to lead, load, and have feet trimmed all in one day. Would have thought he was a aged horse once he learned to lead. Those darn DTF's, I tell ya. |

| I rode a JOHN FAME son yesterday for the first time. He is a 5yr old stallion and just as laidback as you would want one! Rode him by his ddaddy's pen and neither of them ttwitched an ear. Extremely gentle and very handy. I have no stake in this stud just letting you know my experience for the first tume. |

I agree. My LHDI is very laid back. Has been from the beginning. She's almost too laid back! But when it's time to head into the arena to make a run you better be holding on!
Don't have a Firewater Finale old enough to ride, but based on my youngster and the others that I've seen I think it's safe to say he also passes on his good mind. |

I know its hard to tell when they are yearlings, but my First Down French yearling is SO chill. She isnt flighty or reactive and takes to new things like a old pro. She has her yearling "moments" but she is a so laid back. The farrier was out yesterday and just kept going on and on about how good she was. I'm super impressed with her mind. |
