My Martin all around was stored in the rear tack part of my LQ trailer and today I looked and it is moldy!!!   Its mostly on the fenders, latigos, cinch and a little on the horn. I am so sad. I have heard that once mold grows its always a battle... What's the best stuff to clean it with??

I kick myself I did't pull all my tack out of the trailer, but I usually leave it there all winter and its been ok.... not sure what happened. It doesn't seem damp in there. The tack has been in there since may without me checking it.

Liquid lysol cleaner. Then olive oil liberally and let it sit in a warm room.

I bought a saddle that ended up having mold on it. I bought Leather Therapy Wash and Leather Therapy Cleaner from Tractor Supply and it worked.

I bought a teskys that was moldy when I bought it. I spent days spraying with leather cleaner and scrubbing with a tooth brush. I used a lot of mink oil too! Turned out really nice.

I use the Leather Therapy Wash, scrub it and then hose it off and follow up with Caldwell's Miracle Juice. I wouldn't hose it off if I didn't have the Miracle Juice to use after.

Charon told me to do that also to a Caldwell I bought that was filthy and super dry. Spray with leather cleaner and scrub then hose off. I had already bought the miracle juice from them. It worked awesome and is so pretty and soft now.

SG told me to do this and after I did I was cringing until I put the Miracle Juice on it. Turned out great!

As far as I know, the Miracle Juice only comes in gallon sizes.

I don't use Leather new...I use Leather Therapy and both the saddles I used it on had roughout fenders. I roughed the rough out back up with a wire brush before and after washing it and yes I do apply it to the roughout.

I just used body wash, soap it up and use bruse. After cleaning roughout use a wire brush. And i like black rock, i put it in microwave get it soft used a soft cloth. Or my saddle maker suggested high quality olive oil.

I used a soft toothbrush to scrub the roughout.  I had never done this before and was somewhat apprehensive. Lol.  It worked awesome and hosing it off with the water got all of the gunk and dirt off.  I'm definately a believer in the miracle juice.
