Wanting to hear people's experiences with his get.  Considering breeding a mare to him and wondering about temperament and ability.  Are amateurs having success with them?  Thanks!

p.s. I know he's 14.3 and that's a positive for me :-)

I think it's safe to say his offspring speak for themselves when it comes to performance.  He has ALOT of babies out there winning a lot of money.  Extremely athletic.

I would definitely stay away from smaller mares with him, and he crosses super well on racebred mares.  My 10 year old by Fab is out of a AAA mare.  He's been a solid 1D horse for me from Florida/Georgia all the way out here to Missouri.  He finished up reserve 1D champion for the year with only making half the shows (I had surgery and missed the first half)

All the ones I have been around have been very user friendly just like the FWF's are. Neat horses.

We have a weanling/yearling filly by him and she is really nice!! She is sassy, likes her "Go" button and confident as heck, but super easy to deal with. She halter broke in 5 minutes and I mean walked all over the outside barn yard without mom and not a single fuss or fit. She's so brave NOTHING scares her. Nice nice filly!

EVERYTHING scares mine, but he's too smart for his own good.  He literally spooks at everything.  At least everything you wouldn't expect him to.  Then when something really scary does come along he doesn't even glance at it.  But he's also the same horse that will kill another horse without hesitation, so he's definitely NOT the standard for the bloodlines.

I can name probably about 5 people that have been unhappy with a FF baby that they have owned.  Other then that, most people are very happy with them.

A Fab baby qualifed two different people to the American. We have several here in MO locally that are winning a lot

Love mine. If I could afford another right now, I would. I think the fact that his offspring are many of the top performers in multiple events speaks worlds for itself. You can't go wrong.

Ok, FF definatley sounds like a good match for my mare and has the qualities I'm looking for.  My mare is race bred and a producer on the track.  I was going to breed her to Blazin Jetolena but his book filled so fast this year I didn't get the contract in!

I had a dud but I got her after a long list of previous owners had her so no telling what happened to her to make her the way she was. I personally believe it was man made the way she turned out. She was a super super sweet mare, just blown up.

I had one out of a working bred mare pretty to look at, very in your pocket and wanted to please. 14 2hh and turned out to be a 3-D horse I think but she is SUPER honest and work her heart out. I would take another with a AAA bottomside.

I have a fab horse and he is so sweet and has an awesome personality. I just got him 2 months ago and he is going to be a heck of a horse. The only downfall for him is he can be cold backed but the girl warned me before I bought him. I have a friend who has a mare by fab and she is a tough 2d horse here in central tx as well against the likes of Lisa Nichols and stoli my guy. All that I have seen tend to be sweet horses and want to work. The down fall to some are that is they are not crossed on enough speed they will not clock well.

I love my Fab mare.
She is different though, she is not a pet me kind of girl. She wants to work.
She is a little cold backed if you leave her off for a length of time but she is always honest. Kenny said the Doc Olena cross is the only Fabs that were like that.
She is a little mare that will out work a big horse. heck of a heel horse and Herbie started her on barrels for me this summer.
I guess my favorite part about her is she is an overacheiver. She rides like a sports car and you cannot spook her or make her quit.
I would breed to Fab in a heartbeat!!!

I bred my mare to him last year.  She is an own daughter of Dr. Kirk.  Unfortunately she didnt take, leaving me very sad.  I really wanted one in 2015.  He ships awesome and all involved are awesome to deal with.   Edited to add we are trying again this spring!

That really is suprising. Hopefully you get her in foal this year. The mare we bred, the dam to the filly I posted pics of above was a 16 yr old maiden mare when we bred her to Fab. The vet on our end was really happy with the semen! The count was very high and strong motility.  He ships extremily well. She took first shipment.  And your right, Kenny is awsome!!

I have a Fab gelding and have been around quite a few of his offspring. Wish I had a barn full. They are all extremely athletic and have a great mind on them. His babies speak for themselves and really have made a name for themselves. His owner Kenny Nichols is great to work with and is so helpful. I will be buying another Fab in the very near future and also breeding a mare to him.
