What brand do you guys like? Care to share pictures of what you've got? I think I want a set of crooked stirrups but I can't decide what size.....

I have the 3" twisted and slanted made by walls. Like them but my foot does slide to the outside which doesn't hurt anything but makes my boots look funny. They sure do help my knee pain. But, remember they are aluminum which doesn't feel the greatest when they wack you in the shin when you're carrying your saddle.

The Crooked Stirrup are just right. I have 3" tread and it gives you a even balance. They do take pressure from knees and hips.

Do you have the barrel racer one or the western bell? I can't seem to find measurements in their website.

I also heard that they helped with knee pain so I tried them. I have two partially dislocated my knee cap and after warming up for 5 minutes with them, I had to step off the pain in my knees was so bad. I guess it just depends.

I have one knee that needs replaced and my sister had both of her knees replaced this year and we both got relief and love the Wooden Half Breed Nettles stirrups. They are awesome. Rockyroad sells them.

I've been doing a lot of trail riding lately and my joints do ache a little on those 3 hour rides.....I rode in that treeless with slanted stirrups and I liked how easily my feet could contact the horse. I guess I just don't understand the whole Nettles thing....?

I bought a pair of Walls and they didn't relieve the pain in both knees or ankles so I tried and then bought the Original Crooked stirrups
(Hico, Tx
) and that relieved the pain completely, so I bought another pair. I have a 3" for trail and the 2" wide for barrels. Actually getting ready to buy another pair for my other saddle. I'm totally committed to the Original.

I prefer the 3" slanted by walls. I have a pair of the twisted/slanted and 2 pairs of just slanted. I won't ride a saddle unless it has them on it :
) I switched out both my lynn mckenzie and pozzi before I ever put them on a horse!

Me neither. I looked at them and they look like regular stirrups but made out of wood. I'm not saying they are bad stirrups but I don't see how they would relieve knee pain

i have the 3" walls. I've beat up my knees pretty good in my short lifetime and I can't keep my feet in stirrups if I don't have walls on my saddle. granted I haven't tried any others either. I saw those Kroes feet stirrups those might interest you too!

I heard Kroes Feet are good and they're twisted, I was thinking of trying a pair. I have a 2" pair of walls also and I like them, they definitely help with my knees.

I LOVE nettles. I started with the all purpose because I was skeptical and didn't want to invest much money in stirrups. Boy, then I was hooked. I bought the 3" half breed and the 3" slanted for my husband. He is in LOVE with the slanted. We were strictly Crooked Stirrup users before but hated getting my shins banged on and they were heavy. So glad I made the switch. Contact RockyRoad!

Love my 3" slanted Walls! Watch closely for deals on facebook and tack sites - I got both of my pairs for $40 shipped each. Have always wanted to try the 2" because I feel the 3" are a tad heavy.
