My mare has a beautiful, shoulder length mane. Well she has rubbed about 3" of it out on the hay ring....down to the skin. What's something I can use to help promote growth.

Agreed .... change the hay ring and MTG applied weekly does wonders!

Word of caution on MTG... test a small area for 24 hours first. My gelding had a terrible reaction to MTG and ended up in the vet clinic with a raging fever and peeling skin because I didn't be smart and test a little area first. It worked great on another one of my horses however, so I'm not trying to scare you away.

Same thing with my gelding...he didn't end up having to go to the vet but lots of Vetericyn on his tailbone.
