Has anyone ever tried it and what was your results. My mare has a very large bone spur in her coffin joint that are being maintained right now with injections and Prevocox. She was getting injected every 5-6 months now with in a year she has went to having to have them every 3.5 months. Depending on how much I haul and run her she has had to have them every 7 weeks. So it's just a matter of time before they quit working and we have to start looking at other options.

Not only will they quit working but they will do more damage than good
(Over time
). My gelding is same way. His first lasted 6 months then only 3 months second time. Last July we did TILDREN by regional profusion and he was SOUND within about 2 weeks and has maintained his soundness to this day. He was on previcox DAILY before TILDREN. My vet just gave me a bottle of OSPHOS IM injection. Its about 250 bucks but way less than tildren. Goes in the muscle all at once in 3 different injections sites simultaneously. Vet told me this would MAINTAIN that tildren improvement. It can be given every 3 months if need be but since its been 7 since Tildren we are thinking my horse may only need it once a year to maintain. That sure is a better deal that repeatedly going in that joint! He has not had previcox in 7 months Except on the days he runs.

We talked about Tildrem when I went a couple weeks ago. He doesn't think it would help her. Her spur has grown and eventually our only option will be to either nerve her or retire her. We didn't know what was wrong for over a year. My vet did several X-rays and put her on this medicin and that medicin and wanted to do this kind of therapy and that kind of therapy. Ended up coding me a lot of money with no real diagnosis or improvement. So we went to a specialist in Texas. Within about 45min he found the spur and a lot of arthritis and got us on the coarse of treatment. Today she is 100% sound. Tomorrow she may be 3 legged. She does fake sometimes though. I watched her running and playing Tuesday. Put her in her stall and went to put a halter on her and you would have thought her leg was broke.

Here is a link to a picture I just posted on my Facebook page with my results of a bone spur on my horses' navicular bone.
