I've heard good things from a handful of brands that make 100% wool saddle pads but just curious on what everyone's thoughts are and what they prefer!

We've had Tod Slone's for ages but I like 5 Stars better. They are softer and I ADORE how the pad is cut on the top line....its contoured so the front of the pad won't pull down on the withers.

I have 2 5 stars and 1 Todd Sloan. All are different sizes and I use and like them all. I will probably get another 5 star though to replace the Todd Sloan. It had a horrible accident....... :

I am going be the odd man out and say Wyatt saddle pads. They are more popular with penners/sorters and I have only seen one other barrel racer in my area that has one. They are well made, are of good quality and look nice too.

The problem I have with CSI's is they are thick and heavy. My saddle fits great with a 1/2" five star - anything else is too thick.
I also have a 7/8" 5 star that I just can't part with even though I don't use it right now.
