I have used it and the pet version. We have a Boston that can't handle thunder or fireworks. It didn't do much. The THE cookies has helped the most.

Ive used it on different dogs that get really scared during fireworks, gunfire, etc. It worked great on some an ok on others. No adverse effects on any of mine.

Our stock dog gets it prior to our thunderstorms. He makes it thru without pawing the door down.

Thank you for the replies. I may go to THE for the cookies as this is for my sisters dog who is on Pheno full time so we have to be very careful.but we sure do need help so maybe we will try both. The Shar Pei is a tough breed to deal with, and sad to watch.Between Shar pei fever and seisures its devistating.

Just an FYI...The regular Rescue Remedy has alcohol in it and the Pet Rescue doesn't.

Good Luck.

Before giving the THE cookies I would call and visit with Bob to make sure it would be safe with the meds the dog is on.
