Just read some awesome stuff on it and did a search on here so I would really like some input on what y'all think.

I have looked at several sites now and the most common feeding rate I have seen is 1/2-1 cup per day
(usually split into 2 or more feedings
)

I don't know what they claim to do, but I would imagine there are better things to supplement than pumpkin seeds.

I have never heard of feeding them to horses. I eat the little green organic ones every day. They are a real immune booster; packed with Zinc. Known to increase sex drive, lol...

Why would one feed pumpkin seeds?
There have been research articles published in scholarly journals
Proving pumpkin seeds are effective to use as a dewormer.
I don't have pubmed so I have never been able to read the articles

You are supposed to soak raw pumpkin seeds for like 12 hours then feed them minus the water to the horses. We had boarders do it at my barn and I couldn't tell the difference in their horses. They bought them at Whole Foods and Mrs. Green's and they weren't cheap. I'd find something else.

When I was looking for alternatives for CC, pumpkin seeds and watermelon seeds popped up a few times but trying to get a hold of ones that you felt good about having been processed or unprocessed correctly was hard and I found some other alternatives that were easier to get.
