| The land of Israel is a good description of the Christian life: " a land of hills and valleys" Deut. 11:11 As we read Psalms 43 , we hear someone experiencing the hills of delight and the valley of depression . Up and down, up and down; the psalmist's emotions were like a spiritual roller coaster. Have you ever been like that? Hills and Valleys, sometimes BOTH in the same day! " You are the God of my strength" immediately followed by, " Why cast me off? "V 2
Today, you can CHOOSE to PRAISE or Choose to pout.
Why do we get so down, so disquieted? I, ME, MY, one reason we get depressed is having unhealthy fixation on ourselves: my feelings, my problems, my needs, me, me me.
It's not about us, it's about God! it's not your weakness; God is your strength. like the psalmist , cry out to God. Focus on His deliverance, His defense, and His absolute dependability. You can trust Him. Remember, it's not about you.
Then instead of following feelings or friends, trust Him to direct you in the way you should go. He will,lead and guide you with His Word because His Word is truth. before you know it, you have traveled from praying to pondering, and now you are praising Him in unrestrained joyful worship. What started with "me" ended with God!
for it is with God all things are possible.

Psalm 43:3 Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle
