I feel as though with the current anonymity afforded by the like button, there are many people speaking out of both sides of their mouth on many situations, liking a post that goes one way and then speaking out against it to be in the majority...

If that's not possible, I don't see the benefit of identifying yourself. If you want to do that, you can just create a post with your opinion.
