I used Mare Magic on my mare and it helped, but sent her to my trainer for a tune up and he said to get her on Regumate. I ended up going with the injectible every 12 days. It has made a bigger difference than the herbs because it prevents her from cycling and getting sore. On the other hand, it is a lot more expensive (herbs ~14/month, the shots, ~80/month). I would get your mare checked out first to rule out tumors or cysts.

Location: Okla	Tail wringing, sore back. They did ultrasound and she does have a follicle on her right ovary and was very uncomfortable when it was palpated.

I Don't Brag Posts: 6960	Go with whatever works. The only thing that has worked on two of my mares (over 12 years apart) is spaying them. Tried everything imaginable and nothing else helped for the pain they were in. Good luck!
