I don't use the supplement but I got the latest issue of Equus magazine today and there was a very positive article on the SG Ultra as a way to prevent ulcer recurrence. Wondering if anyone else read it

I've been using it for about a year and like it. Just to clarify - it is a preventative and/or maintenance - not for healing though.
Haven't read the article, but several universities did a study on it some years back and I was impressed with their findings.

Mine get theirs twice a day, everyday. I'll feed it as long as they'll produce it.

I had good results from it. Horse was a worrier, ulcer-prone, and would gas colic easily. No more problems after he was started on SmartGut.

I am coming up on the end of my first 30 day supply. I love how my horse has changed. I just ordered another tub. Very happy with the results.

Ultra $65. Regular $45. The second tub that I ordered today is the reg. it just has less of the same ingredients. And honestly, not that much less.

It's nice to know a product really does what it says--especially when backed by research AND good old fashioned proof!!!

Mine has been on SG Ultra for almost a year, and the difference in her is amazing.
First, I treated her ulcers with UlcerCure OTC and then I started her on the SG Ultra. Now she eats all her food and because of that she keeps weight on much better.

I use Digestive ULR from Equine Natural Care. It is very economical. 65.00 for a 65 day supply.

Horses have been on it for about 8 months. I read the a similar article about 8 months ago in another magazine. Because I get it in monthly packs, my horses have the Colic insurance for $7500 because they are on it. That is a HUGE BENEFIT!
