Location: Northern CA | Those who have used Platinum Performance, is it worth the cost? What do you fee it in? And have you found another supplement that compares? I am not at all interested in the CJ, don't believe in feed through joint supplements, but am looking for something to put a bloom on my horses and just that extra edge. |

Location: Northwest | I have been very, very impressed with Platinum. I didn't believe all the hype until I purchased a horse that had been on it---I had never seen a healthier/more radiant horse in my life. I tried different overall supplements after I purchased him but ended up putting him (and others) back on Platinum. I currently feed it with Nutrena Senior but I am process of switching over to Renew Gold. The oldest horse I have on it is 20 and everyone thinks he is 10. |

| I feed it, believe in it, and won't feed any other supplement. The longer I have fed it, the better my horses act and perform.
Do read the instructions - the daily maintenance dose is fed differently than feeding right before competition. I love feeding 2-3 scoops to my competition mare a few hourse before we run (as recommended). I noticed the difference this last October at the CMSA World's Shoot. That little mare was on fire and it showed in every run. |

Location: In Husker Land | I feed one to one and a half cups a day. During competition I but her up to maybe 2..but it can make your horse a little hot so start off small and work your way up. Mine can feel like she will powder keg you sometimes on 2. It is totally worth it..only thing my vet feeds too. Besides forco too. |

Location: Where I am happiest | We put our 25 yr old very arthritic mare on the CJ and it has made a world of differencce in her! She looks amazing! She's all dappled out and I had never seen her dappled out before starting on the CJ and she's moving very fluid now unlike before. We started her on the 2 scoops for the first 30 days and then dropped her to 1 scoop a day and she's holding very well. I scoffed at it before especially the price but now I am a firm believer after seeing the results we got first hand. |

I feed one scoop and then bump it up to two a few days before and after a race. |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | In the off season they get 1/2 scoop a day. My horses get grained once a day at home. During the season I do 1 scoop. When on the road and they don't have 24 hour hay/pasture they get grained twice a day with a scoop a.m. and p.m. |

The Platinum CJ is an all inclusive supplement which covers pretty much everything a supplement can cover. The Platinum is the same thing minus the joint support. They have it all listed on their website www.platinumperformance.com |

Thank you! I don't feed a fortified grain, I just feed rolled oats and free choice hay. And the supplements I listed. Maybe the CJ can fill in the gaps for me so I don't have to feed 3 different supplements. |

Before I switched to PP CJ I was feeding a soup mixture since I was adding a little of this and a little of that. Now that I've switched my horses look so much better and feeding time is way easier. |

| The container says 1-3 scoops TWICE daily for barrel horses. I feed ONE scoop twice daily and that's plenty. Any more than that and I have to peel them off the wall!
There is an exact replica product that is cheaper. Its made by Santa Cruz Equine health. THey even compare theirs with platinum side by side and their are no differences. Quite a bit cheaper and in a pellt
Just google Santa Cruz equine health. Its the wellness formula |

In answer to your questions- yes it is worth the cost. What I feed it in depends on the horse. The ones that don't need a lot just eat it mixed with a very small amount of wet cob. My mare that can't eat alfalfa gets it mixed with omolene 400. There is no other supplement that compares, IMHO. The one complaint I have heard about it is that it can make some horses "too hot". I do not personally have that issue. |
