Awhile back I accidently washed a pen my SO had left in his shirt pocket ( he is a big boy and should check his pockets).  Anyway when I found the pen a the bottom of the washer I placed it on the dryer while I put the rest of the clothes in it.  Now I have an ink stain on top of the dryer.

I have tried rubbing alcohol, magic earsers and a couple of other things.  They take some of it off but not much.  Anyone have any good solutions for this?  This is a rental house and we are moving out this weekend.....

my grandma used to say hair spray would take ink out of things. Never tried it myself. Maybe try as a last resort?

WD- 40 or Rubbing Alcohol. Magic eraser also may work. Goo gone is also good, Just plan old ice will take out ink out of clothing might try it on that too.

I know for a fact aresol hairspray will get ink out of clothing. You could try that.

Go Be Gone did not touch it.  Tried Hairspray after that and it took some off but not what I was hoping for.  Back to the scrubbing board tonight.

I acutally have some that I have never used.  Do you have to dilute it?

Nope, use it straight out of the bottle.  I would just squirt some on there and leave it for a few minutes and then try and see if it comes off.

Let us know if it worked.  We've used Awesome on several different things and they have all cleaned right up.

Spray hairspray on it. That's how you get ink off anything else.

If the dryer is white, use bleach!

Awesome didn't touch it.  Have already tried hairspray and bleach.  The hairspray worked on the stuff that still had a bunch of ink but didn't take it off all the way.  Bleach only worked on the parts that were faded from the other stuff.

Rubbing alcohol has worked the best but smears it everywhere thus making it really hard to get stuff out of the crevices that have been made over the years.
