Both cowgirl tuff and rock and roll cowgirl riding jeans fit great at first maybe a little tight. Then in a few hours their riding down and falling off! What the heck. Guess that means they don't fit lol. Anyone else having this problem? What jeans did you switch to? Maybe non stretch?

Their stretch do just that... stretch.... And then don't retract.  I wouldn't buy a smaller size because honestly when you wash them you won't be able to get them back on lol

I ride in Cruel Girl's utility and georgia jeans and have a few of the Cowgirl Tuff's. None are the stretch version.

I won't ever buy riding jeans with stretch in them just because they stretch, but don't retract. LOL

I could be wrong but I had someone tell me that we designer jeans you should buy a size smaller because they are designed to stretch and relax after you've had them on for a little while. I thought someone told me that at Nordstrom's but I could be wrong. At the weight and body situation I'm in am happy to have that stretch ;) Good luck!

It also depends on the wash you buy.  The darker the wash the more they stretch.  All my jeans are too small when I buy them and too big when I get on my horse. LOL Its a fact of life now.

Yep..  I have the more bootie than waist problem.  Maybe its not a problem but it gets to be hard to find jeans.

LOL, i have the junk in the trunk problem too, also thunder thighs! So finding jeans that I can even get on is a problem. So then they try falling off - great. I'm not sure what jeans to try next. Everything is slim fit, dont they know some of us are "all about that bass"! I did find that Ariat Riding Jeans cover my butt and don't sag as much - maybe due to the poly content in addtion to the stretch.

The Grace in LA jeans have an easy fit that worked for my butt and thights.  There's still a gap in the back but I'll never find a pair of jeans that won't have that.  I have belts in many colors and styles.  I also can wear the Cruel Girl Georgias.

I have come to despise stretch jeans for this reason too! And not only do they stretch out too big then not tighten back up but the biggest problem is that they stretch out then ride DOWN lower and lower every time you take a step, ugh!!! I wish they made some heavier denim, non-stretch, MID rise jeans nowdays!! I currently wear the Wrangler Booty Up jeans and they are mid rise but they are very thin denim and stretch out easily and ride down bad especially if you try to bend over, ugh!! I need some jeans I can WORK in that will still stay UP over my hind end!!! Anybody have any suggestions for me?

I had the exact same problem which is why I quit buying them. Loved the way they fit when I would first put them on but I couldnt stand the way they would sag after I rode. My butt needs all the help it can get and that was NOT helping haha. The only jeans I will buy now are Miss Me jeans. They are the only ones I have found that dont loosen up after I ride. I'm rough on jeans but they are tough. Yep they are expensive - I spent $190 today on 2 pairs - which is ridiculous....but I like them and they last so thats what matters most. I try to get ones without much bling because it will rub my saddle seat.

If you have an Atwoods in your area, go check out the Heart Of Stone jeans.  They are a little higher rise than the Cowgirl Tuff jeans and some of the others mentioned, which I hated at first but got used to it....especially since they are only $39.99!

Secondly, try the Ariat R.E.A.L riding jean.  They will not fall off at the end of the day.

Try having the no-assatall problem and your jeans loosening up!  Luckily I was blessed with a low crack....

I've had the same problem with any of the jeans that aren't 100% cotton. Wrangler Cash and Cruel girl still make 100% cotton jeans. They are a little longer in the rise so you aren't permanently scaring someone's memory of you when they see your back side hanging out. I suggest trying them on before you purchase so you know the fit is what you want. Plus they don't cost near what the pretty butt pants do :)

I have a pair of the wrangler mae jeans....I like them, but not the material. They fit perfect at first, then seem to sag in the butt area. I wish the material was not so stretchy

When I was wearing cruel girls even the cotton ones really did stretch out. After one wear I had to wash and dry to get them shrunk back up. I love the Cowgirl Up jeans. Little higher rise and heavier made. Cheaper too.
